Knoxville, TN - Michele Carringer picked up a petition to serve as the next State Representative for House District 16.
For the first time in years, the voters of our district will have
a choice as to whether we continue on the conservative path
Rep. Dunn has charted, or if we take steps backward.
"Rep. Dunn has been a strong conservative voice, not only for
our district, but for the State of Tennessee and I look forward to
continuing his strong legacy for our community," said Carringer.
Early voting begins in July with the Primary set for August 6th.

Knoxville, TN - Michele Carringer voted to support our Knox County Sheriff's Officers and Jail Officers by voting to amend the
upcoming budget to support a $1,500 bonus for all of their hard-work
and dedication to the citizens of Knox County. "Tonight I joined with 7 of
my fellow County Commissioners to ensure that the men and women,
who risk their lives everyday for all of us in Knox County, received a
modest bonus. Our Knox County Sheriff Deputies have worked around
the clock, through the pandemic serving each of us, and we cannot risk
losing great deputies. There’s so much I could say but I’ll let my actions
on this issue speak for me.
As the economy improves I know that County Commission and Mayor Jacobs will begin looking at other priorities to continue investing in our greatest asset, our people."
